Yumo helps you save and adapt recipes. Please check AI-generated ingredients, nutrition estimates and cooking instructions before using them.

Who provides Yumo · Legal notice

Yumo is provided by John Uschold. Contact: decostudiosdev@gmail.com. These terms cover the recipe service. The app licence is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available through the App Store product page. Our privacy policy explains how we process information, including the separate optional choices for product analytics and marketing attribution.

Using the service

You can import supported public recipe links, selected photos or PDFs, save recipes, and request adaptations for a selected nutrition goal. Source availability and extraction quality vary; not every link, video or document can be processed. You do not need to create a sign-in account.

You must have permission to submit and use your source content. Do not infringe others' rights, bypass access controls, submit unlawful material, automate abusive requests or interfere with the service. Keep a copy of recipes you want to preserve; locally saved content may be lost if you delete the app or your device data.

AI, nutrition and food safety

AI-generated recipes can contain mistakes. Nutrition values are estimates per serving, not laboratory measurements or medical advice. Check quantities, allergens, ingredient substitutions, dietary suitability and safe cooking temperatures. A selected goal does not guarantee that a recipe is safe for an allergy, medical condition or prescribed diet. Seek qualified advice for medical or therapeutic dietary needs.

Free use and Yumo Pro

Yumo includes five welcome recipe-generation credits. Starting one month after enrollment, free users receive three monthly credits without rollover. Yumo Pro offers continued recipe remixes through an auto-renewing weekly or annual subscription. Prices and billing periods are displayed in the app in your storefront currency before purchase. Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial on the annual plan; the weekly plan has no introductory free trial.

Apple charges your account when you confirm a purchase, or after an applicable free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. If you accept a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the subscription charge. Any unused trial portion is forfeited when applicable under Apple's purchase terms.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting Yumo does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases is available in Yumo Settings. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights. Availability, security and fair-use limits may temporarily restrict requests, including for subscribers.

Content and sharing

You keep the rights you hold in submitted content. You allow us and our service providers to process it as necessary to deliver the features you request. These terms do not give you rights in third-party videos, photos or recipes, or guarantee that AI output is original or exclusive. Share links allow recipients to view recipe and source information; share only content you are entitled to distribute.

Service availability and changes

Yumo depends on third-party sources and providers. Features may be interrupted or change when those services change. We may restrict abusive use or make changes necessary for security, legal compliance or service maintenance. We will communicate material changes where required and respect applicable rights relating to paid services.

Optional product analytics and marketing attribution are not required to use the recipe service. Your choice about either one does not change the availability of core recipe, library, cooking, planning or subscription features. Those choices are governed by the privacy policy and can be changed in Settings; they are not conditions of accepting these terms.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections and statutory remedies for digital services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free AI output. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
